We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and motivated Year 4 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Clapham, starting as soon as possible. The Role

You will work closely with teaching assistants and colleagues to provide targeted support where required and to ensure consistency in teaching and learning. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across the Year 4 curriculum
- Use assessment data to inform planning and differentiation
- Support pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND and EAL
- Create a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Promote positive behaviour and high expectations for learning
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and KS2 colleagues
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding progress and development
- Participate in staff meetings, CPD, and whole-school initiatives
The Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience teaching Key Stage 2, ideally Year 4
- Demonstrate strong subject knowledge across the curriculum
- Be confident in classroom management and differentiation
- Be organised, reflective, and proactive
- Be committed to inclusive practice and safeguarding
- Have a positive, professional approach to teamwork
