Are you a reflective and motivated Year 3 Teacher looking for a stimulating role from January 2026? A lively primary school in Southwark is recruiting a Year 3 Teacher to join their KS2 phase and drive high-quality classroom practice. The Year 3 Teacher will deliver engaging lessons that develop pupils’ conceptual understanding in reading, writing and mathematics, use assessment to set precise next steps, and lead small-group interventions where needed. The successful Year 3 Teacher will take part in induction activities prior to January 2026 and will be fully involved in planning and assessment cycles from the start of term. This Year 3 Teacher post is well suited to a capable practitioner who values collaboration, reflective practice and strong home–school links. The Southwark school offers supportive leadership, regular CPD and a positive working environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver ambitious Year 3 curriculum sequences with clear progression.

  • QTS and demonstrable experience teaching in Key Stage 2 with confidence in Year 3 practice.
  • Strong subject knowledge, organised planning skills and a reflective approach to improvement.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to contributing positively to the Southwark school community.
  • Ready to begin in January 2026 and to take part in pre-term induction.
