Are you a reflective and creative Year 3 Teacher wanting to join an energetic KS2 team in Hackney from January 2026? A forward-looking primary school in Hackney is recruiting a Year 3 Teacher to deliver ambitious, well-sequenced learning and to support whole-school improvement. The Year 3 Teacher will teach across the Year 3 curriculum, design learning sequences that build cumulative knowledge, lead intervention groups and contribute to assessment moderation. The successful Year 3 Teacher will be given induction time before January 2026 so they can plan effectively and start teaching confidently in January 2026.
Role responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver sequenced Year 3 lessons that develop conceptual understanding and application.
- Use assessment to identify priorities and design high-impact small-group teaching.
- Work with colleagues to moderate standards and share best practice across the Hackney phase.
- Support transition, parental engagement and enrichment activities to broaden pupils’ experiences.
