A welcoming and vibrant primary school in the London Borough of Camden is seeking a dedicated and proactive Site Supervisor to manage the operational maintenance, security, and safety of the school campus. This is a full-time, permanent position working year-round to ensure a safe, clean, and inspiring environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.

The post is suitable for an experienced site manager, caretaker, or handy person with a strong trade background or facilities experience who takes pride in keeping a school running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Premises Management: Oversee day-to-day site security, unlocking/locking procedures, heating systems, health and safety compliance, and routine statutory testing (e.g., fire alarms, legionella, emergency lighting).
  • Maintenance & Repairs: Carry out general DIY, repairs, painting, and basic plumbing/carpentry, while coordinating external contractors for larger maintenance projects.
  • Health & Safety: Maintain up-to-date health and safety records, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with COSHH and school policies.
  • Teamwork: Work closely with the Headteacher and School Business Manager to manage premises budgets, site improvements, and cleaning teams.

Qualifications & Skills: Relevant trade skills or site management experience, good understanding of Health & Safety regulations, physical fitness, and a clear Enhanced DBS check.
