About the Role
The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support across the school while helping to lead the day-to-day operation of the busy school office. Working closely with the Headteacher, School Business Manager, and wider administrative team, you will oversee key administrative processes, maintain accurate school records, support admissions and attendance, coordinate communications, and ensure an efficient service for pupils, parents, staff, and visitors. This is a varied role requiring excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks within a fast-paced school environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the management of the school office and administrative team
- Maintain accurate pupil records and management information systems
- Assist with admissions, attendance, and reporting processes
- Coordinate communication with parents, staff, governors, and external agencies
- Provide administrative support to senior leaders
- Ensure compliance with GDPR, safeguarding, and school procedures
- Coordinate meetings, events, and visitor management

Candidate Requirements
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a senior administrative role
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
