A Leading Education Recruitment Agency is currently working in partnership with a number of inclusive mainstream schools and specialist SEN provisions in North Hackney to recruit committed and resilient SEN Teaching Assistants. These schools support pupils from diverse backgrounds and place a strong emphasis on inclusion, wellbeing, and positive relationships.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant in North Hackney, you will support pupils who experience barriers to learning due to Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), SEMH, ADHD, speech and language needs, learning difficulties, or sensory processing challenges. Many pupils require consistent adult support, clear routines, and emotional reassurance to thrive in the classroom. You may be required to work 1:1 with a specific pupil, support small intervention groups, or provide flexible classroom support.
