An academically rigorous secondary school in Ealing requires a highly capable Science Technician committed to providing essential practical support and maintaining a safe laboratory environment from January 2026.

The role involves providing comprehensive technical support to the Science teaching team (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) across KS3–KS5. Key duties include:

  • Preparing essential practical equipment and materials for lessons
  • Ensuring the safe storage and disposal of chemicals/materials
  • Maintaining apparatus
  • Undertaking basic administrative tasks for the department

You will be instrumental in the smooth running of the school's well-equipped laboratories.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Relevant technical qualification or a degree in a Science subject (Chemistry background highly desirable)
  • Proven experience working in a school or industrial laboratory setting
