The department has a strong culture of collaboration, with teachers regularly sharing ideas, resources, and best practice. There is also the opportunity to contribute to enrichment activities such as STEM clubs, Science Week, competitions, intervention programmes, and educational visits.

Students are well-behaved, motivated, and respond positively to teachers who are supportive, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about their subject.
