We are seeking to appoint a highly organised and conscientious Finance Assistant to support the effective delivery of financial operations within one of our primary academies. Reporting to the School Business Manager and working closely with the Trust’s central finance function, the postholder will contribute to robust financial administration, regulatory compliance and value for money across the school.

Key Responsibilities- Raise and process purchase orders, invoices, credit notes and payments in accordance with Trust financial regulations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support month-end and year-end procedures.
- Assist with budget monitoring, reconciliations and reporting requirements.
- Administer staff expense claims and provide payroll input as required.
- Liaise with suppliers, budget holders and the central finance team to resolve queries.
- Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the finance function.
- Support audit processes and ensure documentation is maintained to required standards.

- Experience working in a finance, accounts or strong administrative environment.
- Excellent numeracy skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
