Are you a creative, nurturing Reception Teacher looking for a high-quality EYFS role from January 2026? A welcoming primary school in Lewisham is recruiting a skilled Reception Teacher to lead its Reception provision and join a well-established Early Years team. The successful Reception Teacher will design play-based, evidence-informed learning sequences that develop language, communication and early mathematical understanding. This Reception Teacher post will involve close partnership with parents, targeted assessment against the Early Learning Goals and collaboration with the school’s SENDCo to ensure all children make strong progress. Induction activities will be scheduled ahead of January 2026 so the Reception Teacher is ready to start in the Spring term January 2026.
Responsibilities

- Observe children regularly, use evidence to plan next steps and maintain learning journeys.
