An ambitious Kingston school is seeking a skilled Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team full-time, beginning January 2026. The Reception Teacher will lead a lively cohort, deliver structured phonics and early maths, and develop continuous provision that promotes vocabulary, independence and physical development.

The Reception Teacher will prepare resources prior to January 2026, take part in induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026. Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering daily systematic phonics;
  • Leading shared reading and mark-making sessions;
  • Designing continuous indoor and outdoor provision;
  • Assessing progress against the Early Learning Goals and communicating with families;
  • Coordinating transition into Year 1 around January 2026 and beyond.

Requirements for the position include QTS / EYTS, strong EYFS subject knowledge, and confident behaviour management.
