A dynamic and inclusive primary school in the Bow / Bethnal Green area of East London is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher to join its professional teaching team. This is a full-time, permanent role, suitable for both experienced educators and newly qualified teachers (ECTs). The successful candidate will be responsible for a class within Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage pupils.   • Monitoring pupil progress and adapting lessons to meet the needs of pupils with diverse abilities, including SEN and EAL learners
  • Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement
  • Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development alongside academic progress
  • Working collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SEN staff, and senior leaders to provide targeted support
  • Participating in pupil progress meetings, interventions, and whole-school initiatives
  • Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil achievement and wellbeing
  • Keeping accurate records of pupil progress, attainment, and behaviour
  • Participating actively in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school projects
  • Upholding safeguarding, child protection, and school policies at all times

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching in KS1 or KS2 (ECTs welcome)
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and consistently applies positive behaviour strategies
  • Is committed to inclusive education and supporting pupils from diverse backgrounds
  • Can differentiate lessons to meet the needs of individual learners
  • Is reflective, proactive, and committed to professional growth
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Works collaboratively within a supportive team environment
  • Is passionate about making a difference in children’s lives
  • Experience supporting pupils with SEN, EAL, or additional learning needs is desirable but not essential.
