An energetic Lambeth school requires an experienced Premises Manager to take responsibility for site management and compliance from January 2026. The successful Premises Manager will lead the site team, manage contractors, and ensure the school is safe, secure and fully operational by January 2026.
As Premises Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for building maintenance, security and compliance. The Premises Manager will manage planned maintenance, oversee emergency procedures, and ensure that the site meets statutory requirements. The Premises Manager will coordinate lettings, maintain health and safety records and lead the site team to deliver a safe learning environment.
Requirements:- Demonstrable experience in a senior premises or facilities role.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations, risk assessments and contractor management.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills to liaise with staff, parents and external contractors.
- Lead the site team and deliver routine and emergency maintenance.
- Oversee compliance documentation (asbestos, legionella, fire safety) and update records.
- Coordinate contractors and manage lettings, ensuring excellent stakeholder relationships.
