Our client is seeking an experienced, practically minded Premises Manager to take strategic and day-to-day operational control of their Waterloo campus estate from September. The college is open to considering both full-time and flexible part-time working arrangements for the right facilities professional.
The successful candidate will manage site security routines, oversee internal caretaking/cleaning staff, direct external sub-contractors, and track utility and building management metrics (BMS). You will take direct responsibility for maintaining immaculate, legally compliant statutory testing logs—including fire door integrity audits, emergency lighting checks, Legionella water safety cycles, and physical site security protocols.

Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a premises manager, site supervisor, or commercial facilities leader (FE or secondary school experience is highly desirable)
- Deep working knowledge of current health and safety legislation, COSHH guidelines, and statutory building compliance data logs
- Practical skills in reactive building maintenance alongside strong contractor management capabilities
- Good IT literacy, with confidence using digital helpdesk platforms, asset management systems, and spreadsheets
