Premises Manager

A respected Independent School in the London Borough of Ealing is seeking an experienced Premises Manager to lead the management of its site and facilities on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and highly organised individual to take responsibility for maintaining a safe, secure and well-presented environment for students, staff and visitors.

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of premises management including health and safety compliance, planned and reactive maintenance, contractor management, site security and facilities development.

You will manage the day-to-day operation of the school site, ensuring all buildings, grounds and facilities are maintained to a high standard. Responsibilities include coordinating maintenance schedules, monitoring budgets, managing contractors, overseeing site staff and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

The role also involves supporting school events, examinations and wider operational requirements while contributing to long-term site improvement projects.

The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent organisational abilities and a thorough understanding of health and safety regulations.

Requirements

β€’ Previous premises, facilities or estates management experience
β€’ Knowledge of health and safety legislation
β€’ Experience managing contractors and maintenance programmes
β€’ Strong leadership and organisational skills
β€’ Budget management experience desirable
β€’ Excellent communication abilities
β€’ Ability to work independently and proactively
