The successful PPA teacher will deliver planned PPA lessons across KS1 and KS2, maintain consistent classroom routines and provide clear, actionable feedback to class teachers. The PPA teacher will follow teachers’ medium-term plans, deliver engaging lessons that secure progress and report outcomes back to class teams. In Greenwich, the PPA teacher will work across year groups, support extra-curricular activities and help ensure continuity of learning during PPA time. The appointed PPA teacher will be adaptable, organised and confident managing mixed-ability classes.
Responsibilities- Deliver consistent, well-planned PPA teacher lessons that follow class planning and promote progress.
- Maintain class routines, manage behaviour positively and give constructive feedback to class teachers.
- Prepare resources and ensure smooth handovers so teachers are fully briefed after PPA sessions.
- Support enrichment activities, cover supervisory duties and contribute to whole-school events in Greenwich.
