A highly regarded independent school in Camden is seeking a talented Science Teacher (Predominantly Physics) to join its successful department on a part-time (0.5 FTE), permanent basis from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to teach Key Stages 3 & 4 in a school renowned for its academic excellence, outstanding pastoral care, and small class sizes. You'll predominantly teach Physics, alongside some Biology and Chemistry, in classes of no more than 15 students, allowing you to deliver engaging, personalised lessons.
The Role
You'll join a supportive Science Department, teaching predominantly Physics while helping students develop confidence, curiosity, and a love of science. Responsibilities include:
- Teaching Physics across KS3 & KS4
- Delivering some Biology and Chemistry lessons
- Planning engaging, high-quality lessons
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback
- Contributing to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities
