We are seeking an enthusiastic, inspiring, and committed Teacher of Music to join the thriving faculty at an Outstanding Ofsted-rated secondary academy in the Ealing area of Inner West London. This is a full-time, permanent position starting immediately.

  • Teach Music across Key Stages 3 & 4 (KS3/KS4), with potential for Key Stage 5 (KS5).

The successful applicant will be an inspirational and highly effective Music specialist dedicated to delivering engaging and rigorous practical and theoretical lessons. You will be joining a supportive, high-achieving environment with excellent facilities, where high academic achievement and widespread student participation in musical performance are highly valued. We Are Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a degree in Music or a related field.
  • A proven track record as an excellent Music Teacher with experience teaching theory and performance to at least Key Stage 4 (GCSE).
  • Proficiency in directing musical ensembles (e.g., choir, orchestra, band) is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students of all abilities and backgrounds.
  • The drive to uphold and contribute to the academy’s Outstanding standards.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Teachers.
  • The base salary will be paid according to experience within the statutory Inner London Pay Scale.
  • A fixed Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 per annum.
