We're currently working with a welcoming nursery school in Southwark that is looking to appoint a Premises Officer from September on an ongoing temporary basis. The Role

As Premises Officer, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the school site during the morning, ensuring everything is ready for a busy school day. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Opening the school each morning
  • Carrying out minor repairs and general maintenance
  • Completing routine health and safety inspections
  • Monitoring the security and presentation of the site
  • Reporting maintenance issues where required
  • Supporting the smooth operation of the school premises

The successful candidate will be reliable, organised, and happy working independently. Previous experience working within a school environment is essential, ideally in a caretaker, premises, or facilities role.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 11:30am (20 hours per week)
