Are you a focused and data-driven Interventions Teacher ready to lead targeted support programmes from January 2026? A supportive primary school in Lambeth is recruiting an Interventions Teacher to accelerate progress for pupils in reading, writing and mathematics. The Interventions Teacher will design, deliver and evaluate small-group and one-to-one intervention programmes using assessment data to prioritise need. In Lambeth, the appointed Interventions Teacher will work closely with the SENDCo and class teachers to identify pupils with gaps in learning, plan tailored sequences, and monitor impact over time. The role begins January 2026, with induction and planning sessions in the weeks before January 2026 to ensure a seamless start. The Interventions Teacher will be responsible for delivering evidence-informed approaches, coaching teaching assistants in intervention delivery, and maintaining clear records of progress. Responsibilities
