A successful and well-established secondary school in Westminster is seeking to appoint an experienced HR Officer to join its dedicated support staff team from September 2026. The RoleThe HR Officer will support the day-to-day delivery of HR operations, ensuring processes are completed efficiently, accurately and in line with current employment legislation and safeguarding requirements. Key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating recruitment campaigns, interview arrangements and safer recruitment checks
- Managing onboarding, induction and probation processes for new employees
- Preparing contracts, offer letters and contractual documentation
- Maintaining accurate HR records and personnel files
- Supporting employee lifecycle processes, including contract changes and leavers
- Monitoring staff absence records and supporting wellbeing initiatives
- Providing first-line HR advice to managers and employees
- Ensuring HR policies and procedures are implemented consistently across the school
- Assisting with HR reporting and continuous improvement projects
