A highly regarded secondary school in Camden is looking to appoint an experienced HR Manager to join its leadership support team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026. This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious HR professional to make a real impact within a successful school that places its people at the heart of everything it does.
Working closely with the Headteacher, Senior Leadership Team, and School Business Manager, you'll lead all aspects of Human Resources, helping to attract, develop, and retain exceptional staff while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
The Role
- Oversee the school's HR function, ensuring all people processes are delivered efficiently, professionally, and in line with current employment legislation.
- Lead recruitment campaigns and oversee safer recruitment processes.
- Provide expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and absence management.
- Manage disciplinary, grievance, and capability procedures where required.
- Review and develop HR policies and procedures.
- Oversee contracts, personnel records, and HR compliance.
- Produce workforce reports and support strategic staffing decisions.
- Work with leaders to improve staff wellbeing, engagement, and retention.
- Manage HR systems and ensure GDPR compliance across employee records.
