I'm delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a thriving secondary school in Southwark that is looking to appoint an enthusiastic HR Administrator to join its support team on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an organised and people-focused administrator to become part of a welcoming school where staff wellbeing and professional development are at the heart of everything they do. You'll work alongside an experienced HR Manager, supporting the smooth running of the school's HR operations while building valuable experience across the full employee lifecycle.

The Role
As HR Administrator, you'll play an important role in supporting the school's HR function through a wide range of administrative responsibilities, including:
Coordinating recruitment and onboarding activities
Preparing employment contracts and HR correspondence
Maintaining confidential employee records and HR databases
Organising safeguarding and compliance documentation
Processing payroll amendments and contract variations
Monitoring staff absence and maintaining accurate records
Supporting employee lifecycle administration
Providing first-line administrative support to the HR department
