We are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and committed History Teacher to join the successful Humanities faculty at a highly regarded secondary academy in the prestigious Westminster area of Central London.

We Are Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • A relevant degree in History or a closely related discipline.
  • A proven track record as an excellent History Teacher with experience teaching the subject to at least Key Stage 4 (GCSE).
  • A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
  • The drive to contribute positively to the academic life of the school.

Salary and Benefits

  • Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Teachers.
    • The base salary will be paid according to experience within the statutory Inner London Pay Scale (The Inner London Main Pay Range minimum is approximately Β£40,317 as of September 2025).
  • A fixed Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of Β£2,000 per annum.
