You would be working in a successful Design and Technology department teaching Food Technology across KS3 and KS4. The department benefits from excellent practical facilities and well-equipped kitchens that support engaging and hands-on learning experiences for students.

Students are enthusiastic about Food Technology and enjoy developing practical cooking skills, nutritional understanding and food preparation techniques through an engaging and carefully planned curriculum. Lessons are designed to encourage creativity, independence and confidence while promoting healthy lifestyles and safe working practices.

The department works collaboratively to deliver high-quality teaching and ensure students of all abilities are supported and challenged effectively. Teachers are encouraged to contribute positively to extracurricular activities, competitions and wider school enrichment opportunities.
