A thriving Secondary School in Greenwich is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join their experienced finance and administration team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day financial administration of the school, including processing invoices, managing purchase orders, reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate financial records. You will work closely with the School Business Manager and wider support staff team to ensure financial systems are maintained effectively and efficiently.
Responsibilities will also include supporting budget monitoring, liaising with suppliers and assisting with financial reporting where required. The school is looking for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
You will need to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times while contributing positively to a collaborative administrative team. Good IT skills, particularly in Excel and finance systems, would be advantageous for the role.
