Role Purpose

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in delivering EYFS curriculum activities, including phonics, early literacy, numeracy, and creative play
- Provide one-to-one and small group support for children with SEN or EAL needs
- Encourage independence, social skills, positive behaviour, and emotional regulation
- Support classroom routines, transitions, snack times, and outdoor play activities
- Observe, assess, and record pupil progress in line with EYFS learning goals
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, external specialists, and parents to ensure consistent support
- Maintain safeguarding, health, and safety standards at all times
- Support children’s emotional wellbeing and engagement in learning
