Key Responsibilities

  • Support the class teacher in delivering EYFS lessons and activities
  • Work with individual children and small groups to support learning

  • Support children with personal care as required (toileting, meals, dressing)
  • Observe, assess, and record children’s progress in line with EYFS expectations
  • Prepare and maintain engaging learning areas and resources
  • Support indoor and outdoor learning activities
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and resilience
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, staff, and parents

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working in an EYFS, nursery, or early years setting
  • Understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Right to work in the UK

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years or Childcare qualification
  • Experience supporting SEN within EYFS
  • Paediatric First Aid or Safeguarding training
