We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and highly committed Teacher of Drama to join the successful Performing Arts faculty at a well-regarded secondary academy in the Ealing area of Inner West London. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in January 2026.

The successful applicant will be an inspirational and highly effective Drama specialist dedicated to delivering engaging and rigorous practical and theoretical lessons. You will be joining a supportive environment where high academic achievement and widespread student participation in performing arts are highly valued. This role focuses on outstanding classroom practice, developing technical and performance skills, and contributing significantly to school productions and the co-curricular program.

We Are Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a degree in Drama, Theatre Studies, or a related field.
  • A proven track record as an excellent Drama Teacher with experience teaching both practical performance and academic analysis to at least Key Stage 4 (GCSE).
  • Experience in directing or managing school productions is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
  • The drive to contribute positively to the academic and co-curricular life of the school.

Salary and Benefits include Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Teachers, with the base salary paid according to experience within the statutory Inner London Pay Scale. A fixed Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 per annum is also included, along with excellent, structured professional development and career progression pathways.
