A welcoming Primary School in the London Borough of Lambeth is seeking an experienced Data Manager to join its support staff team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and analytical individual who enjoys using data to improve outcomes for pupils and support the strategic development of the school.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the management of the school's information systems while ensuring the accuracy, security and effective use of all pupil and assessment data. Working closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, you will manage the school's Management Information System, produce reports on attendance, attainment and progress, coordinate statutory data returns and support staff with the effective use of school data.

You will be responsible for maintaining pupil records, processing admissions and leavers, preparing census returns, managing assessment data and ensuring all information complies with GDPR and data protection legislation. The role also involves supporting timetable data where required, providing training to staff on data systems, identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes and ensuring that accurate information is available to inform whole-school decision making.

The successful candidate will possess excellent IT skills, strong analytical abilities and exceptional attention to detail. Previous experience within a school data environment and knowledge of management information systems such as Arbor, SIMS or Bromcom would be highly advantageous.
