A welcoming primary school in Lewisham is recruiting a Caretaker to join their facilities team. This Caretaker vacancy starts January 2026, with induction and a full handover planned before January 2026 to ensure continuity.
The Lewisham Caretaker will be responsible for:
- Opening and securing the premises
- Conducting daily safety checks
- Carrying out routine maintenance
- Supporting contractors
- Maintaining the outdoor areas
You will help ensure that classrooms and communal spaces are safe and functional, support school events and manage consumables and site inventories.
Main duties include:
