We are actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Teacher to join an excellent secondary school in the desirable Putney area of Wandsworth. The Role
- Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons in Business Studies to students from Key Stage 4 (GCSE) to Key Stage 5 (A-Level).
- Developing and implementing a rigorous and relevant curriculum that covers topics like marketing, finance, human resources, and operations.
- Encouraging critical thinking and entrepreneurial skills, often through case studies and project-based work.
- Guiding students through examination preparation, coursework, and providing effective feedback to drive attainment.
- Collaborating with the Economics and wider Humanities departments to promote a comprehensive understanding of commercial and societal issues.
Candidate Requirements
- A degree in Business Studies, Economics, Management, or a related commercial field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE.
- Proven experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary school level, with expertise at A-Level.
- A deep understanding of the current curriculum and assessment frameworks for Business Studies.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills, fostering a professional and focused learning environment.
Salary & Application
The salary for this position is competitive and will be paid to the MPS/UPS scale (Inner London pay scale), commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
