We are seeking an enthusiastic, academically driven, and committed Biology Teacher to join the thriving Science faculty at a highly regarded secondary academy in the prestigious Westminster area of Central London. This is a full-time, permanent position starting as soon as possible.

The successful applicant will be an inspirational and highly effective Biology specialist dedicated to delivering rigorous, practical, and engaging lessons in the life sciences. You will be joining a supportive, intellectually stimulating environment where high academic expectations and a strong practical science curriculum are prioritized. This role focuses on outstanding classroom practice, particularly at the A-Level, and contributing to the department's consistent record of placing students in Medicine, Dentistry, and Biological Sciences courses.

We Are Looking For:

  • A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  • A relevant degree in Biology or a closely related discipline.
  • A proven track record as an excellent Biology Teacher with mandatory experience teaching the subject to Key Stage 5 (A-Level).
  • A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to inspire and challenge students of all abilities.

Salary and Benefits include Main Pay Scale/Upper Pay Scale (MPS/UPS) for Teachers. The base salary will be paid according to experience within the statutory Inner London Pay Scale. A fixed Recruitment and Retention (R&R) Allowance of £2,000 per annum is also included, along with excellent, structured professional development and career progression pathways.
