An Outstanding Secondary School in Southwark is seeking an organised and enthusiastic Art Technician to support their successful Art department. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a vibrant and well-equipped creative environment where students are encouraged to develop artistic confidence, imagination and technical skill across KS3, KS4 and KS5.

The successful candidate will support teaching staff by preparing materials, equipment and resources for practical lessons and creative projects. You will maintain studios and storage areas, organise stock and displays, and ensure that classrooms remain safe, inspiring and fully equipped for teaching and learning.

Responsibilities will include preparing paints, clay, textiles and specialist materials, maintaining art equipment and supporting health and safety procedures throughout the department. You may also assist with exhibitions, displays of student work and departmental enrichment activities across the school.

The role requires someone who is practical, organised and enthusiastic about Art and Design. Strong attention to detail, creativity and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively are essential.
