A Mixed Secondary School in Tower Hamlets is seeking an organised and enthusiastic Art Technician to support their successful Art department. The successful candidate will support teaching staff by preparing materials, equipment and resources for practical lessons and creative projects. You will maintain studios and storage areas, organise stock and displays, and ensure that classrooms remain safe, inspiring and fully equipped for teaching and learning.
Responsibilities will include preparing paints, clay, textiles and specialist materials, maintaining art equipment and supporting health and safety procedures throughout the department. You may also assist with exhibitions, displays of student work and departmental enrichment activities across the school.
