While prior education compliance experience would be advantageous, we are happy to train those that simply have the right attitude and willingness to learn. You will be an invaluable member of the team, offering support by carrying out safeguarding checks for Teachers and Support Staff registered by our agency. You are someone who enjoys working to targets but also has a great eye for detail.

The role: As the Compliance and Safeguarding Officer, you are the vital link between the Recruitment Consultants and the candidates registered with us. The role is fast-paced, diverse and requires excellent organisation skills, attention to detail, and fantastic communication skills.

Your key responsibilities are to:

  • Carry out document and safeguarding checks for candidates
  • Clear candidates to work quickly and efficiently
  • Act as a pillar of support to the Recruitment Consultants and Resourcing Team

Where are we? We are based in a modern workspace in Hammersmith which is a short 3 minutes from the station.

Our hiring criteria:

  • A can-do and self-motivated attitude, you must be able to use your own initiative
  • A degree is preferable (though not essential with the right experience)
  • A clear communicator who is comfortable talking to candidates at all levels of their career
  • IT proficient and an excellent command of written English
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Previous education or compliance experience would be a bonus

Role:

  • Working alongside our sales consultants to clear candidates
  • Speaking to candidates and chasing the relevant safeguarding documentation required
  • Chasing references for candidates that have been placed
  • Processing registration packs and online DBS checks
  • Reporting to directors with an overview of compliance
