A high-achieving Mixed Secondary School in Liverpool is seeking an organised and enthusiastic Dance Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their successful Performing Arts faculty. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a vibrant and well-equipped creative environment where students are encouraged to develop physical confidence, choreographic imagination, and technical performance skills across KS3, KS4 and KS5.

The successful candidate will inspire teaching and learning by delivering engaging practical workshops, technique classes, and insightful theoretical lessons. You will maintain a safe and dynamic studio environment, manage performance resources, and ensure that dance spaces remain inspiring, hygienic, and fully equipped for both devised and repertoire work.

Responsibilities will include planning and delivering curriculum content across various dance styles, techniques, and practitioners, preparing students for practical and written examinations, and managing safe dance practice procedures. You will also play a key role in school productions, choreography showcases, and departmental enrichment activities across the school.

The role requires someone who is practical, highly organised, and deeply enthusiastic about Dance and Performance Studies. Strong physical skills, excellent classroom management during active practical sessions, and the ability to choreograph and inspire young dancers are essential. Requirements
