An established secondary school in Lichfield is looking for a talented and enthusiastic English Teacher to join its English department from January 2027. The school has a strong reputation within the local community and places significant importance on high-quality teaching, positive relationships and developing confident learners.
The successful candidate will teach English across KS3 and KS4, with responsibility for planning and delivering stimulating lessons that encourage pupils to develop their reading, writing, analytical and communication skills.
The school is looking for someone who can create a positive classroom environment and inspire pupils to engage with English Literature and Language. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs.
The successful English Teacher will have:
QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification.
Strong subject knowledge across English Language and Literature.
Experience teaching KS3 and KS4.
The ability to plan creative and challenging lessons.
A commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil progress.
