We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and committed Year 3 Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Leicester, starting as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL learners
  • Promote independence, resilience, and positive learning behaviours
  • Maintain a structured, inclusive, and positive classroom environment
  • Track pupil progress and maintain accurate assessment records
  • Collaborate effectively with teaching assistants, Key Stage 2 colleagues, and senior leaders
  • Communicate regularly with parents and carers regarding pupil progress
  • Contribute to staff meetings, CPD sessions, and whole-school initiatives
  • Support extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities
  • Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to at all times

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching Lower Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3
