A forward-thinking Secondary Academy in Leeds is seeking a professional and highly organised Spanish Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join their experienced Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) team. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day instructional support across multiple key stages and assist senior leaders, teaching staff, and wider academic teams. Responsibilities will include maintaining student progress records, updating school tracking systems, managing departmental correspondence, supporting attendance administration, and assisting with the organisation of language immersion days, international exchange initiatives, and extracurricular cultural clubs.

You will also support communication with parents, students, and external agencies while ensuring that information is handled professionally and confidentially at all times. Strong organisational skills are essential, as the role requires the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage multiple responsibilities within a busy school environment.

The school is looking for someone who is proactive, reliable, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative languages faculty. Good IT skills and confidence using digital language-learning and audio platforms are important, alongside strong communication and interpersonal skills.
