A dynamic secondary school in Leeds is seeking an experienced and safety-conscious Senior DT Technician to specialize in Resistant Materials and lead workshop management from January 2026.
Experience and Qualifications
- Significant experience working as a DT Technician, specializing in Resistant Materials (Wood/Metal/Plastics).
- Expert knowledge of workshop machinery operation, maintenance, and safety regulations (e.g., COSHH).
- Proven ability to prepare materials, set up practical projects, and assist students with specialist equipment.
- Strong organizational skills for managing stock, materials procurement, and budget tracking.
