The Opportunity
A strategic opportunity for an experienced HR Manager at a high-achieving school in Yorkshire. You will lead the personnel function for a large staff body, ensuring the school follows best-practice recruitment and employee relations policies. This is a pivotal role that supports the Senior Leadership Team in maintaining a world-class teaching and support staff.
Core Responsibilities
- Safer Recruitment: Overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process and ensuring the Single Central Record (SCR) meets all statutory DfE requirements.
- Employee Relations: Providing expert advice on performance management, staff wellbeing, and employment law to the Headteacher and Governors.
- Compliance & Policy: Managing personnel files, HR aspects of payroll, and the development of school-wide HR policies.
Requirements & Compensation
- Essential: CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) and significant HR management experience, ideally within the education sector.
