Core Responsibilities & Duties

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Leading the end-to-end recruitment process and ensuring rigorous safer recruitment checks are completed.
  • Employee Relations: Providing expert advice to the Headteacher on HR policies, performance management, and staff wellbeing.
  • Compliance & Payroll: Managing the school’s payroll submissions and ensuring full compliance with employment law and DfE guidelines.

Essential Requirements: CIPD qualification (Level 5 or above) and experience in an HR management role, preferably within education.

Salary: Competitive salary on the local government scale (expected £38,000 - £45,000 per annum).
