This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who enjoy guiding Sixth Form pupils through analytical models and want the flexibility of day-to-day teaching.

The Opportunity

We are looking to register experienced and enthusiastic Economics Teachers for daily supply opportunities across Leeds.

This is not a permanent or full-time position. Instead, teachers will be offered day-to-day supply assignments based on their availability, experience, preferred locations, and the needs of local schools.

Assignments can range from individual cover days to short blocks, allowing you to continue teaching while maintaining control over your schedule.

The Role

As a Daily Supply Economics Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that challenge students to evaluate economic theories and global financial policies.

  • Lesson Delivery: Deliver well-structured Economics lessons across the relevant Key Stages (primarily Key Stage 5).

  • Economic Understanding: Support students in developing their knowledge of supply and demand, market failure, inflation, fiscal policy, and trade.

  • Quantitative & Diagrammatic Analysis: Guide students in constructing economic diagrams, analyzing data, and evaluating policy outcomes.

  • Policy Debate: Create opportunities for students to discuss contemporary economic events and evaluate competing theoretical views.

  • Classroom Management: Maintain an intellectually stimulating and focused learning environment.
