The Role
You’ll be responsible for the day‑to‑day upkeep of the school site, working to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Responsibilities include:
- Opening and locking the school site
- Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs
- Completing routine health and safety checks
- Maintaining the school buildings and grounds
- Setting up rooms for meetings and school events
- Liaising with contractors when required
- Reporting maintenance issues and supporting site compliance

The Successful Candidate

School experience is desirable but not essential for candidates with relevant maintenance or facilities experience. A practical approach, good problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently are essential.
