Are you an ambitious KS2 Teacher who loves curriculum design and pupil progress? An Outstanding Merton primary is recruiting a dedicated KS2 Teacher to teach across Key Stage 2 on a Full-Time basis from January 2026.

The appointed KS2 Teacher will participate in collaborative planning before January 2026, join induction in January 2026, and begin classroom teaching from January 2026. The school’s Outstanding status means the KS2 Teacher will work in a culture that values high expectations, strong pedagogy and career development.

A week in the life of the KS2 Teacher:

  • Mornings: the KS2 Teacher leads well-sequenced English and mathematics lessons designed to develop reasoning and domain knowledge.
  • Afternoons: the KS2 Teacher delivers enquiry-based foundation topics, practical science and project work that deepen cultural capital.

The KS2 Teacher will run targeted interventions, liaise with teaching assistants and lead assessments that begin with planning prior to January 2026 and continue after January 2026.

Impact and leadership for the KS2 Teacher:

The KS2 Teacher will analyse assessment data, lead small-group boosters and contribute to subject development. There are clear pathways for the KS2 Teacher to take on subject leadership and mentoring following successful performance after January 2026.
