About the Role
As the KS1 Subject Lead, you will take responsibility for leading, monitoring, and developing your subject across the Key Stage. You will provide guidance and support to teaching staff, ensure consistent high-quality teaching, and track pupil outcomes to inform strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage your subject across KS1, providing training, resources, and support to colleagues
- Monitor teaching and learning in your subject, ensuring best practice and consistency
- Develop and implement curriculum improvements aligned with school priorities
- Analyse pupil progress and use data to inform planning and interventions
- Mentor and coach colleagues to develop their practice within the subject area

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
