We are delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for a KS1 Class Teacher to join a welcoming and high-achieving independent primary school in Crystal Palace from January 2026. The Role
- Position: KS1 Class Teacher (Year group to be confirmed based on experience)
- Location: Crystal Palace, South London
- Start Date: January 2026
- Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered
You will:
- Teach a small KS1 class within a nurturing and well-resourced environment
- Deliver inspiring and creative lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Support children in developing strong early literacy, numeracy, and social skills
- Foster a love of learning through engaging topics and cross-curricular experiences
- Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents and carers
- Play an active role in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an outstanding, dedicated teacher who brings passion, positivity, and a nurturing presence to the classroom. You will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching KS1 (Reception–Year 2), ideally within a primary or independent setting
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum and EY/KS1 pedagogy
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A kind and child-centred approach to teaching and learning
- A team-player attitude with a willingness to contribute beyond the classroom
