Are you a compassionate SEN TA who wants to make a difference in a Kingston primary from January 2026? The SEN TA will deliver planned interventions, support pupils in-class and during small-group tuition, assist with personalised approaches and liaise with families and external professionals. This SEN TA role in Kingston begins January 2026, with induction and handover planned prior to January 2026 so the SEN TA can start the spring term confident and prepared.

Main duties
- Deliver targeted interventions and monitor their impact on pupils’ progress.
- Support pupils within the classroom to access learning and to practise skills taught by teachers.
- Adapt resources and implement agreed strategies for pupils with communication, cognition or sensory needs.
- Liaise with the SENCo, therapists and parents to support personalised plans and transition arrangements.
- Maintain detailed records, contribute to review meetings and support safeguarding procedures in Kingston.
Person specification
- Prior experience supporting pupils with SEND and confidence delivering structured interventions as a SEN TA.
- Empathetic, organised and able to work collaboratively with staff, families and external professionals in Kingston.
- Available to commence January 2026 and to attend necessary induction and training before January 2026.
