The successful candidate will join a highly collaborative EYFS team and begin pre-term planning and induction in the weeks immediately before January 2026.

The Reception Teacher will plan continuous provision, lead systematic phonics, and design high-impact adult-led sessions. The Reception Teacher will also profile children against the Early Learning Goals and communicate progress to parents in the term that starts January 2026. The school will support the Reception Teacher with mentor coaching from the moment planning begins before January 2026 and through ongoing CPD after January 2026.
Reception Teacher responsibilities
